LRAP

   As the cost of higher education rises, the accumulation of substantial education loan debt may dictate career choices for students who want to pursue public service employment but feel they cannot take such a traditionally low-paying position.  In January 2002, Washington University School of Law adopted a Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP) for students who enter the government or public service job sector.
