Where is Washington University located?
Washington University is located in St. Louis, Missouri. The Danforth Campus is just 15 minutes west of downtown St. Louis.
Does Washington University School of Law offer a part-time or evening program?
We offer a full-time, day program beginning in August for J.D. candidates.

What is the cost to attend Washington University School of Law?
Tuition for the 2009-10 academic year is $41,670 divided into fall and spring payments. Tuition for the fall semester will be due by August 2009.

Are Scholarships available for qualified students?
Scholarships are merit or merit/need based and range from $2,000 to full tuition.
What joint degree programs does Washington University School of Law offer?
There are many joint degree options available to J.D. students. Some are structured programs, but students may also individually design other joint degree opportunities.
Applicants interested in joint degree programs must apply to each program separately. Normally students earn both a masters degree and a J.D. in four years.
When is the LSAT offered?
The Law School Admission Test exam is offered four times a year. Usually, tests are given in June, October, December, and February. Applications cannot be reviewed until we receive the official LSDAS report from Law Services and all other required application materials. When are applications for admission due?
Washington University Law begins accepting applications September 15 for the next fall's entering class. The suggested deadline for submitting an application is March 1, although we will continue to accept applications after that date. Applicants are generally advised to apply as early in the admission cycle as possible.
What is the application fee?

Can the application fee be waived?
If you are unable to pay the application fee because of financial hardship, request the financial aid officer of your undergraduate institution to verify that it would be a hardship for you to pay the fee. This certification should be e-mailed directly to the School of Law Admissions Office. If you are no longer a student, you may still be considered for an application fee waiver by e-mailing a copy of your most recent tax return with a list of your monthly expenditures.
Can I apply for the spring semester?
No. Beginning J.D. students must begin in the fall semester only.
