LLM in Taxation Program

For over 30 years, the Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation program at Washington University School of Law has offered a rigorous course of study in the field of tax law. The program (for which an online application process is available) provides comprehensive and specialized training to lawyers and law school graduates who plan to specialize in tax.

Study with our full time faculty and leading practitioners in the field who teach classes which offer specialized, practical training. Enjoy the individualized attention that small class size, typically fewer than ten students, affords. St. Louis offers all the resources of a large city while retaining a strong sense of community and emphasis on neighborhoods. Besides an Internal Revenue Service District Office, St. Louis is also home to the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri; the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Illinois is just across the river. St. Louis is also home to a wealth of Fortune 500 companies, such as Anheuser-Busch, Express Scripts, and Monsanto. The legal community of St. Louis is made up of firms of all sizes with expertise in all aspects of the law and tax law in particular.
